Individualized trainings can be designed to meet a site's
specific needs, program goals, budget, and administrative
requirements.
TRAINING WORKSHOPS
One Day Training - Curriculum
Development Workshop
Usually schools that have Internships in place opt
for this training.

Two
Day Training
This is designed for schools that are just beginning
an internship program.
All training includes follow up support via phone
and email.
MATERIALS
The Internship Quest materials provide detailed guidelines
for internship program development and include:
- what needs to be in place before
students leave the building.
- working with community sponsors
to structure internships
- creating site-specific curriculum
to encompass a range of skills and competencies
- how to monitor students in the field
and provide support to community sponsors
- support of students with seminars
that focus on critical workplace skills and behaviors,
and 21st Century Skills

of 100 job specific and field-tested learning plans
aligned with robust national and state curriculum

Seminar Support Manual - a structured
set of 15 seminars building the work-based competencies
necessary for success in today's workplace and for
success in post secondary education and 4 structured
mentoring sessions that support the student's acquisition
of new skills.

Student Handbook - an individual
handbook for each student to use to manage and evaluate
his or her learning throughout the internship placement.

Sponsor Handbook - an individual
handbook for each sponsor or employer to enable the
sponsor/employer to participate fully in the student's
learning. The handbook helps the sponsor/employer
to set high performance standards and to realistically
evaluate the student's performance.
